Job Description Summary Responsible for the sourcing, securing, developing business loans, deposits and fee income for SME. Primary focus is on finding new business opportunities to sell the Bank's products and services. Works in partnership with SME Relationship Managers to develop new business relationships. Generally targets companies with annual revenue from $1 million to $10 million. Essential Job Functions Generates new business through prospecting, outside calling, networking and referrals. Makes a substantial number of outside, in-person calls on prospects and clients requiring extensive automobile travel. Works with the SME Relationship Managers and/or Branch Manager to develop and implement marketing plans. Maintains working knowledge of commercial loans, business deposit products, cash management and investment referral opportunities. Ensures that sales-related processes comply with all laws and regulations. Manage the prospect data base for the assigned territory. Use Bank's technology and software for customer tracking, pipeline reporting and all calling activity Other Job Duties Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Experience Requires deep knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Typically viewed as a specialist within discipline. May have broad knowledge of project management. Requires 5 years minimum prior relevant experience. Education Bachelor's Degree Work Experience 5 yrs Skills Working knowledge of banking products/services. Verbal and written communication skills. Business development skills. Leadership ability. Analytical skills.
