Job Overview The Quality Inspector will play a critical role in ensuring the dimensional accuracy of our complex aerospace products.
This individual should be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess a strong sense of urgency.
Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is highly preferred, as is the ability to make fact-based recommendations to improve product quality and resolve issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Execute visual, receiving, in-process, and final inspections using both handheld and automated inspection tools, including CMM where possible.
Collaborate closely with engineering, management, and production teams to communicate product acceptance criteria and inspection outcomes.
Record detailed inspection results and identify any non-conforming products, ensuring proper documentation.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and advise management on product conformance and capability issues.
Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of our Quality Management System by complying with organizational and industry standards.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications Minimum of 5-years experience in an aerospace manufacturing setting preferred Experience with inspection of machined components preferred Experience with CMM's highly preferred Demonstrated capacity for leadership Strong capability to interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and manuals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interface with all levels of company personnel.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
High level of self-motivation with a proactive approach to tasks.
