Volt is immediately hiring multiple Quality Control Inspectors for immediate hire in Huntington Beach, CA.
As a Quality Control Inspector you will:
- Be responsible for testing, inspecting, and documenting the inspection of electrical components or assemblies used in the manufacturing of aircraft interior parts at all stages of the production process
- Interpret and read engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, customer and company specs to ensure accurate part manufacturing
- Inspects, tests, and documents the incoming receiving testing of purchased electrical parts or components used in aircraft interior assemblies. Testing for defects such as assembly, soldering, crimping, wires, stripping, and bonding.
- Write inspection reports and non-conformance reports
- Ensures quality standards are understood and maintained.
- Documents the testing or aircraft interior electrical products and components at various stages of production for dimensional, electrical, and mechanical characteristics.
- Inspects and calibrates precision measuring equipment used to measure electrical characteristics using NIST traceable calibration standards.
- Inspects and documents electrical products for proper packaging for shipment.
Hour are M-F from 6am 3:
30pm with the ability to work overtime during week and on weekends. Positions are temp to hire.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2-3 years of receiving line or quality control inspection
- This position mustbe able to use Electrical standard measuring equipment such as Ohm Meter, Power supply, Multimeter, andhypot diletric.
Pay Rate:
$24-27/hr+
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
