Responsible for providing first-class HR services to the hotels & resorts and delivering an excellent staff experience while assisting with HR strategy and managing succession planning. Develop and implement customer service standards for employees.
Develop staffing requirements to ensure sufficient coverage of the Telecommunications, Hotel/Resort Reservations, Shades Restaurant Reservations, and Concierge Departments to accommodate business demands. Develop, coordinate and evaluate the implementation of monitoring and inspection programs to ensure all staff are adhering to customer service and performance/conduct standards. Manage employee/labor relations issues (disciplinary, investigations, capability, etc.) within the hotel in a confidential manner. Provide support to all staff managers to ensure success of their teams. Develop departmental training requirements and standards. Develop and implement reward and recognition programs and training strategies. Participate in hiring and recruitment process (review applications, conduct interviews on own or with department heads, conduct background checks, etc.). Ensure recruitment and selection process is adhered to and ensure that appropriate immigration checks are carried out. Review and approve department heads and managers employee performance reviews, and conduct performance reviews as needed. Prepare and report on overall effectiveness and status of programs, projects, initiatives, etc. Responsible for wage and salary administration and ensure pay reviews/absence monitoring/wage queries are managed in line with company guidelines. Oversee and maintain workers compensation and safety; ensure completion of training for hotel security, fire regulations and other health and safety legislation; and develop and implement policies and programs for training, safety, performance, harassment, discrimination, and any other initiatives as directed by the company. Work with local organizations and schools to promote the hospitality industry.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Hotel Administration, Human Resources, or related hotel/business administration field and 5 years of experience in job offered or related HR or hotel management occupation.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
