Temp-to-Hire: Accounting Clerk

Our client is seeking a temp-to-hire Accounting Clerk that will be responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable processing and billing.
AP/AR, and payroll accounts, Union and Non Union experience
Posting of journal entries
Cash management
General office administrative duties including HR.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
1 - 3 years of proven continuous accounting experience
Intermediate knowledge and application of Microsoft Excel
Ability to perform multiple assignments and meet deadlines
Must be highly detail oriented
Excellent written and verbal skills
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external vendors to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
