Visit our website: Responsibilities Position Overview: As a leader on the Healthcare Economics team, you will use your experience with healthcare claims data, statistical or actuarial methods, and savings evaluation to lead a team of analysts, statisticians and healthcare economics professionals who measure the current and potential financial and clinical value that the Landmark Health program brings to our patients and business partners. What you'll be doing: Lead a team of analysts, statisticians and healthcare economics professionals who both conduct and oversee shared savings performance guarantees and ROI analyses of population health interventions, program measurement, disease management programs, etc. Take ownership of the current settlement processes and develop a strategy for future growth and implement improved processes. Support clinical leadership with development of predictive modeling and analysis of opportunities to improve Landmark's clinical intervention. Develop new SAS- or SQL-based processes to report on healthcare utilization trends and financial savings derived from the Landmark Health program. Lead complex projects independently, including peer review of work of other team members. Act as a resource for others on the team for methodological and reporting questions. Work with clinical and finance teams to understand and evaluate the drivers of quality, engagement, and utilization in our membership cohort. Negotiate with executive audiences as well as work directly with outside actuarial and consulting resources. Qualifications What We're Looking For: A Bachelors degree is required with a specialization in actuarial science or finance, statistics, mathematics, economics, or biostatistics is required. MA/Ph.D. level candidates or those with an ASA or FSA strongly preferred for this position. Minimum of 7 years of experience using advanced statistical or actuarial methods to evaluate healthcare claims data is required. Minimum 5 years of experience programming in SAS and/or SQL is required. Minimum 2 years as a manager of analytic staff is required. Strong organizational, analytical, multi-tasking, documentation, presentation, and problem solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form to a widely diverse audience. Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
