Non-ExemptSummary / ObjectiveAs a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for maintaining the equipment in the facility in both the production floor, warehouse, and the office area.
You will also be responsible for cleaning and providing minor repairs on warehouse machinery.
This individual is to perform a variety of low-medium skilled maintenance.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesTroubleshooting equipmentRoutine lubrication of equipmentOrdering maintenance supplies/ partsFollowing preventative maintenance program for equipment & facilityAssisting with equipment installationsOperation of forklift Maintaining a clean and safe environment Experience and RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to speak, read, and write EnglishAbility to speak Spanish is an assetMechanical maintenance experience is necessaryElectrical maintenance experience is an assetGood interpersonal and communication skills SkillsSolid knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) workplace safety practicesExcellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with workers from othercultures in a sensitive and harmonious mannerCompetent in use of Excel, Word and OutlookStrong analytical and decision-making skillsStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsStrong understanding and conscious of safe work practicesWork StatusFull Time Department Specific/Non-essential FunctionsOther duties as assigned.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
